"Oceanographic data collected during the EX1101 was the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer's first cruise of the 2011 field season. t was focused on ship shakedown and sonar patch testing in order to prepare for the coming field season. It provided an opportunity to get the ship underway and ensure that all of its systems and equipment were fully operational prior to integration of the ROV on board. Additionally, the cruise provided an opportunity to conduct bathymetric mapping to support the work of other NOAA offices and to select specific dive targets for use in ROV testing during subsequent cruises"--Expediton's home page; Oceanographic data collected during the EX1101 cruise of the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer in North Pacific Ocean from Mar. 16 to April 1, 2011 (NODC Accession 0074221) is available from the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) - Ocean Archive System. EX1101 Ship Shakedown and Patch Tests Cruise produced the following data: Ship Navigation (Gyro and CNAV); Ship Sensor Raw Data (SCS Data - Depth, DGPS, Doppler, EventData, MAILER, Met, METOC, POSMV, SAMOS, SciSwSys, TWind, Webship, Winches, Wind) (Profile Data - asvp, CTD, Subbotom Profiler Data, XBT); Multibeam (Bathymetric Data and Water Column Data); Collection of websites, digital maps, posters, and data sets.
